Merthyr Valleys Homes is a forward-thinking mutual housing association that owns and manages just over 4,000 homes in Merthyr Tydfil.

In 2016 we became the first tenant and employee-owned mutual housing organisation in Wales. Our members (tenants and employees) have influence over the running and future direction of our mutual and help us to continually improve the services we provide. Our elected members’ group, Democratic Body, have real powers and work closely with our Board and Executive Leadership Team to meet the growing needs and aspirations of our tenants, our employees and our local communities. Our key strength lies in working together.

We are seeking two individuals who would like to help us to build on what we’ve already achieved:

• We are looking for a Non-Executive Director (for an initial 3 Year Term) with experience in finance and audit who will use their skills and expertise to help us deliver our plans.
• We are also seeking a Co-opted Non-Executive Director to join the Board (for an initial 1 Year Term) with experience in asset management and sustainability.
